This amazing box is made from 100% solid American white oak. The box lid features a carved American flag colored in the "Thin Red Line" theme and the emblem of the fire station of your choice. We can also personalize the lid with the firefighter's name, years of service etc... at NO additional charge. Please notice that the corners of our boxes utilize finger joint construction that not only adds to the aesthetics of the box but also the durability. The hinges used on the lid are spring loaded cabinet grade hinges to support the heavy oak lid when the box is open. Once finished, we seal each box with a combination polyacrylic. You will not find another box like this on the internet! It is absolutely built like a tank with the intention to be handed down for generations. We only use the highest quality solid hardwoods and never use plywood, softwood like pine, mdf, veneer or manufactured woods. Wood grains will vary and each box is truly unique.
