Prior to carving, we will send you a 3D mockup of your design for approval to ensure it is 100% to your liking. This case is designed to hold 2 pistols/revolvers and accessories like magazines etc. Please note, unlike other boxes featured on Etsy, we don't use inexpensive softwood like pine that dents easily, but rather 100% rugged white oak that will stand the test of time and hold up to transport without worry. The hinges used on our lid are spring loaded cabinet grade hinges to support the heavy oak lid when the box is open but also feature a soft close to avoid slamming shut on you. Each box comes with 2 hasp latches that can be locked with a padlock (padlock not included) and a metal handle. Your box is finished with a combination of polyacrylic, teak oil and beeswax. You will not find another box built with these quality materials for this price on the internet! It is absolutely built like a tank with the intention to be handed down for generations. We only use the highest quality solid hardwoods and never use plywood, softwood, mdf, veneer or manufactured woods. Wood grains will vary and each box is truly unique. No boxes are 100% alike.
