The perfect graduation or retirement gift! This gorgeous solid hardwood fireman themed personalized Thin Red Line Flag with a 3-D relief carved Maltese cross fireman's seal. Please look closely at the seal carvings of our flags. They are a true 3-D relief carving unlike many flags you will find on Esty. Almost all other flags you will find on the internet use a carving process called "V-Carving" on the seal which is quick to produce but only yields a 2-D effect. Each seal takes several hours to carve and produces a true 3-dimensional wood carving of the absolute highest quality at a price equal or below other flags you will find. Your flag can be personalized with the text of your choice right on to the Maltese cross to commemorate your loved one's public service. This wooden flag is a perfect gift for the new firefighter or retiree, or any special occasion when a unique gift is needed. Each flag is stained in the Thin Red Line theme and then finished in several coats of high gloss polyacrylic. For wall mounting, we route a keyhole slot on the rear of the flag. We currently offer this flag in 3 different sizes: 16"x8" 24"x12" and 32"x16". Please be sure to select desired size at checkout. All flags feature a roughly .5"-.75" border around them depending on the size of the flag. Please be sure to enter your personalized text like firefighter's name and department city to be carved. All of our items are designed to last generations; thus, we make them from locally sourced solid hardwoods (normally oak or white ash depending on what our supplier has available). Each order is individually made and takes several hours per sign to carve on our CNC. After this we hand sand and finish each sign. All signs are then carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed for a safe journey to their new home. Each flag has a mounting slot routed in the back for wall mounting.
