This design’s crown and plume are fixed elements, preserving its regal proportions, while the shield and banner remain customizable. Crafted in your choice of solid Walnut, Cherry, or Oak, each piece is Hand Finished to reveal the natural warmth and texture of the wood and sealed with pure beeswax unless you prefer a natural finish.

Crests up to 15" include a sawtooth hanger for simple wall display; the larger 24" version is fitted with eyehooks and a wire hanger for secure mounting. A digital proof is always sent for your approval prior to carving, and customers may upload artwork or imagery for their shield design using the image submission box.

Materials & Craft
We use locally sourced lumber from Central Illinois. Each piece is designed, CNC carved, hand-sanded, and finished to highlight the wood’s natural character. Popular hardwoods include walnut, white oak, and cherry. Finish: all-natural beeswax for a rich, warm sheen and wood-safe protection. Due to the nature of real wood, grain and tone will vary—making every crest one-of-a-kind.
