This Custom Crafted hardwood crest features a bold, front-facing Crusader-style helmet surrounded by sweeping mantling that frames the shield beneath. The design reflects the timeless strength of heraldic tradition while offering full customization for your family’s unique story.

Customers may personalize the shield, banner, or even request an optional torse, plume, or upper crest for added grandeur. An additional upper banner can also be added upon request, ideal for displaying mottos or heritage names.

Available in Walnut, Cherry, and Oak, each piece is meticulously Hand Finished and sealed in pure beeswax to enrich the natural tone of the wood — unless you prefer it left natural for your own finish. All crests up to 15" tall include a sawtooth hanger, while the 24" model features eyehooks and a wire hanger for extra support.

Before carving begins, you’ll receive a digital proof for approval, ensuring every detail is just right. Upload your own artwork or family imagery through the image submission box to create a personalized heirloom carved in depth and pride.

Materials & Craft
We use locally sourced lumber from Central Illinois. Each piece is designed, CNC carved, hand-sanded, and finished to highlight the wood’s natural character. Popular hardwoods include walnut, white oak, and cherry. Finish: all-natural beeswax for a rich, warm sheen and wood-safe protection. Due to the nature of real wood, grain and tone will vary—making every crest one-of-a-kind.
