You are viewing a truly one of a kind wall mounted hidden concealment case! The lid of this case features a deep .25" carved American flag that uses various firearms and the text "We the people" as stripes. The Flag measures 22"x11.5" and is larger than the storage compartment. It is designed this way to help conceal the storage portion of the case and disguise the fact that it contains firearms. The usable storage portion of the case measures 14"x8"x1.65". This case is constructed from 100% solid rustic white oak as we only build our concealment boxes from solid hardwoods and NEVER use plywood, mdf or soft woods like pine or fur ensuring our cases will hold up for years to come. We stain the face of the flag then apply polyurethane to protect the stain while the rest of the box is sealed in a hand rub oil finish. Each box can be fitted with an optional magnetic lock that is completely invisible from the outside. The lock can also be switched to a open position if you prefer that will allow you to just open it by lifting on the flag without having to use the magnetic key. Also optional is a piece of 1.5" thick extra firm gun case foam that can be easily cut to hold your firearms, clips, knives etc. To hold the lid up when opened we use spring loaded cabinet hinges and then install a gas filled strut. The case is intended to be mounted to a single stud in the wall utilizing wood screws through 2 pre-drilled and counter sank holes on the inside of the box. Each flag is built and finished in our East Peoria Illinois wood shop. These are cases are hand made items and the actual flag you receive will differ from the one pictured in grain and pattern as all wood grains are different, though it will resemble this it will not be an exact replica but it will still be beautiful and I am sure your patriot will love it for many years to come.
